Wow! All these offers of free travel - How lucky am I???
Well, finally made it here to sunny Melbourne. I have finally got over my jetlag. Well so far Australia has been fun, I have yet to venture out of the house by Jay has promised me a trip into the city tomorrow and I will meet his work buddies. I spent most of today catching up on Neighbours and Home & Away. Australia is a strange place, not quite what I expected and I am still in shock that there are NO Butlin's camps here! and they call this the land of plenty!! (Plenty of places with no Butlin's) Sorry I was the cause for concern as my journey here took a bit longer than expected as I stopped off in Thailand on the way here. I had a great time there (I will leave it at that as I have promised Joker and Jay that I won't go into details on the forum of my time there) As you see from the picture, I have met some of the local wildlife in the form of a tame Cockatoo call Cujo that lives with my host, we got off to a ropey start with Cujo wanting to attack me but we are the best of friends now and were making holiday plans today over a bowl of sunflower seeds . Not sure where my travels will take me whilst I am here in Melbourne but the weather is great as it is springtime here (see I told you they were a strange bunch) Well enough from me now as I think Jay wants to use the computer. Hope everyone is well back in Sunny Great Britain! BM Bear. PS - Looks like I may be off to Adelaide in South Australia on my next leg of the tour.

Well have been busy enjoying the Australian spring time weather in sunny Melbourne. Today we went in the car to a place called 'Caribbean Gardens'which is a market but looks a lot like Butlin's used to look like a few years ago, complete with boating lake and train!! Will post more soon. Enjoy the Pics. PS, Pushbutton, are you going to PM me with your address so I can visit South Australia?

To the best of my knowledge BM is on his way back to the UK !!!
Lets hope he makes it in time. I'm sure he will, never been one to miss out on the opportunity to have a drink or three. Have Fun !!! Joker
